     Storm Catcher® Panels have passed the Florida Building Codes as per FL 804. The above numbers are for windload, impact and cycling tests.


      The Storm Catcher® Panels are designed to cover windows, doors and other home openings to protect against damage caused by wind, rain, and storm-driven projectiles. They are also perfect for the elderly or disabled, since they require no tools, no lifting, and no assembly to deploy before a storm. Not only are they attractive, and available in three different colors, but they are also cost effective, can be installed quickly, and are easy to deploy. These panels are not only UV, mold and mildew resistant, but you can also see through them, and additionally may be used as a sunshade all year round.

      Note: Beginning in April 2007, Storm Catcher Hurricane Wind Abatement Screens began manufacturing with Profilen, considered by most experts to be the strongest, most UV-resistant thread available. Profilen is manufactured with PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene), which is a plastic material made up of linear chains of molecules boasting of excellent chemical inertness and heat insulation properties.


     While this thread is significantly more expensive than the previously used product, Company President Brian Rist states “We want to offer our customers the very best in the industry. We will all sleep better knowing we have done our very best to manufacture and distribute nothing less than the best!”


     Storm Catcher® offers a 10 year warranty on the panels on residential homes. They are a great alternative to plywood as well, and weigh less than an aluminum panel.
